Dogs
“Dogs” by Lewis Blackwell is a beautiful coffee table book filled with a series of beautifully captured photos of man’s best friend. Along with the photography, Blackwell goes into detail about the history of dogs and the enduring bond they have with humans.

The Rainbow Atlas: A Guide to the World’s 500 Most Colorful Places
“The Rainbow Atlas: A Guide to the World’s 500 Most Colorful Places” is a perfect coffee table book for decorating. It’s a subtle and natural pop of color without trying too hard. It’s full of stunning and vibrant images from all over the world. You could leave it open to one of your favorite places or to a location that has coloring that matches your living room. Most importantly, it’s perfect for entertaining guests and sparking conversation.

Flower: Exploring the World in Bloom
My favorite coffee table book for pepping up the drawing-room is “Flower: Exploring the World in Bloom” by Phaidon editors. This book has color splashes with an artistic punch and adds to the vibrance of your house. It takes the reader on a surreal journey through art history, and specifically, how artists around the world have depicted plants in bloom.

Gray Malin: The Essential Collection
One of my favorite photographers is Gray Malin. He is a Los Angeles-based fine-art photographer and is famous for his images of various unique destinations all over the world. He recently came out with a coffee table book of his most recent photography called “Gray Malin: The Essential Collection.” This release is my favorite of his so far, as it illustrates an incredible variety of images and destinations.

Prada: The Complete Collections (Catwalk)
Fashion books can be used to decorate your coffee table in a very unique and beautiful way. The Parada collection books are aesthetically pleasing, giving your decor a very modern look. Moreover, they complete the decoration of your coffee table in a very clean and stylish manner. “Prada: The Complete Collections (Catwalk)” also adds color and personality to the decor, thanks to its lovely cover and simple yet distinctive design.

The Far Side Collection Set
I personally received “The Far Side Collection” set as a birthday present from my eldest son by Gary Larson. This collection is for those of us who had to wait for our daily newspaper but never knew what to expect from the comic strip. There’s nothing like the wit of Mr. Larson to help break the ice, start a conversation, or provide a hearty laugh. Those strips remind me of my roaring 20s and the good times I had. Plus, I love seeing his work in color.

Home Comforts: The Art and Science of Keeping House
As an interior designer, I’ve read my share of design books. My recommendation for the best coffee table book about decorating is “Home Comforts: The Art and Science of Keeping House” by Cheryl Mendelson. It’s a really comprehensive book with lots of pictures about everything from how to arrange furniture to the best stovetop cleaner for stainless steel. It’ll give you some great ideas on how to spruce up your own home, too. It covers so many topics in such a thorough way without being overwhelming.

The Fine Things: Timeless Furniture, Textiles, and Details
“The Finer Things: Timeless Furniture, Textiles, and Details” by Christiane Lemieux and Miles Redd is an amazing book for decorating purposes. Quality matters. As a home’s foundation should be made to stand the test of time, so, too, should the furniture, objects, and everything about our rooms speak to a sense of serenity. The book cover is eye-catching and appeals to one’s attention. Find unlimited ideas for home decor through which you can apply and make the most of your inner setting. Give your place a timeless look, and enjoy the peaceful aura that can help you make a huge difference with this incredible book.
